Keratosis Pilaris Pictures| Week 1

So as you can see, there’s not much of a difference from the initial week and this week.  However,  I have noticed a few changes.

Right Arm – is MUCH smoother.  I did get a rash from the lotion (AmLactin) and it does burn if you have open cuts.  As for the KP dots,  I haven’t seen any improvement.

Left Arm – arm is smoother, but still have all the KP dots.

Chest – no change

Left leg -  is it just me or does it look like the KP has faded a bit on my leg?  My leg feels smoother from the the lotion as well, but that’s because I’ve been applying it twice a day.

Right leg – seems like the KP marks are clearing up a bit on this side as well.  The lotion is way thick so it takes a while to work in.

Back – no treatment

You can find the week by week comparisons in the Pictures Page.

Keratosis Pilaris Lotion First Impressions

Keratosis Pilaris Products First Impression

Derma Doctor KP Scrub is very thick and smells funky.  The exfoliating properties are good as it has a lot of microbeads, I really feel the harshness of the scrub on my leg.  The KP body lotion rubs on well and is not greasy.

Glytone exfoliating body wash is not that abrasive and does not have any fragrance.  My leg does feel a bit smoother now (going on my third day).  The repair lotion is really thick and you have to work it in.  It’s not good if you’re in a rush, it felt a bit greasy even after working it in for awhile.

AmLactin actually burned my skin a little when I applied it the first couple of times.  It actually comes with a warning stating that it can cause burning or tingling and a mild rash.  I got a rash on my left arm from this product and the inside of my arm is itching like crazy.  Maybe my skin is too sensitive for this?

Eurcerin feel like any other product.  My skin feels smoother but can’t say anything about the KP bumps at this time

The Market America product works like any other acne cleanser.  I haven’t seen any different one way or another.

I will post pics on Monday and every Monday after (too be consistent) and update you on my Keratosis Pilaris condition.
